USE the F strategy...

Marketing lesson #2

It’s Tuesday.
Marketing day.

Today we’re talking about FOMO — the art of making people buy before they even know what they’re buying.

You ever bought something just because it said:

“Only 3 left in stock!”
“Closes in 12 hours!”
“Last chance to get the bonus!”

Yeah. That’s FOMO marketing.
And it works like a charm.

Here’s why:

FOMO hijacks the part of your brain that hates missing out.
We’re wired to chase what feels exclusive, scarce, or about to disappear — even if we weren’t planning to buy in the first place.

And, we marketers, know it.
That’s why drops, waitlists, limited bonuses, and fake countdown timers are everywhere.

And no shade — I use it too…
Because it works.

But here's the key:

FOMO should be based on something real.
Scarcity hits different when it’s legit.

Examples:

  • Limited spots on a 1:1 coaching offer? ✅

  • Bonuses disappearing after a live masterclass? ✅

  • Pretend countdown timer that resets every time? ❌
    come on bro

So here’s your quote of the day:

FOMO is powerful — but only when it’s honest.
Manufactured urgency works. Real urgency builds trust and sales.

See you (very) soon,
