You’re not buying the product. You’re buying who you become.

Marketing lesson #3

It’s Tuesday.
So we talk Marketing.

Let’s get into it:

You think you’re buying the shoes.
You’re not.
You’re buying the feeling of being bold, clean, cool, fast, confident, “that guy.”

Nike doesn’t sell sneakers.
They sell being a winner.

Apple doesn’t sell phones.
They sell taste. Identity. Simplicity. Vibes.

Starbucks?
They’re not selling coffee.
They’re selling “I’m a productive person who deserves this moment.”

Even your favorite gym brand?
Not clothes. Not fabric.
Discipline. Hustle. Mentality.

That’s the game:

Great brands don’t sell things.
They sell identity.

And the best part?
You can do this too — even if you’re just starting.

Because people don’t want to buy from a business.
They want to join a feeling.

If your brand doesn’t give them a role to step into, they’ll scroll past.
But if you make them feel like they belong —
You win.

Your product is the vehicle.
But the identit it’s the destination.

PS: If your brand doesn’t make people feel something
you’re just another logo.
