The 4 Ps of Marketing (No Buzzwords, Just Results)
Traditional Marketing Lesson
It’s Tuesday.
We talk Traditional Marketing — but make it not suck.
You’ve probably heard of the “4 Ps” before:
Product, Price, Place, Promotion.
Sounds like a business school test, right?
But here’s the thing:
These 4 Ps still run the game.
You just need to look at them the right way.
Let’s break it down:
1. Product
This ain’t just what you sell — it’s why it matters.
What problem does it solve?
Why should anyone care?
If your product is mid, no strategy will save it.
2. Price
Not “what’s fair” — but what it’s worth to them.
Pricing is emotion. It’s positioning.
Cheap = easy yes, low trust.
Premium = harder sell, high authority.
3. Place
Where are you showing up?
Are you where your buyers actually are — or just where you’re comfortable?
TikTok? Email? LinkedIn?
Don’t pick channels you like. Pick the ones they scroll.
4. Promotion
This is where people panic and blast ads.
But real promotion is matching your message to your moment.
Different platform, different tone.
No one’s reading your essay on Instagram. No one’s dancing for your CTA on LinkedIn.
So yeah, the 4 Ps aren’t dead.
They just got drowned in corporate buzzwords.
Use them right, and you’ve got the bones of a real strategy.
Skip them, and you're just guessing.
PS: If your brand feels messy or you’re just throwing spaghetti at the wall —
Let’s build you a real strategy that starts with the basics and ends with results.
